In Person – One on One Learning at the StarForge3D Classroom
Hands-on Instruction: All classes are held at our physical store location at 8223 Davies Rd NW.
Your Own Dedicated Machine: No crowding around a single demo unit. Every single student is assigned their own 3D printer and a Chromebook loaded with the necessary software for the full 2-hour duration.
Zero Intimidation, 100% Hands-On: Small, capped groups of just 10 people guarantee personalized guidance so you can ask specific questions and troubleshoot in real-time.

This workshop is made for beginners, if any of these sound farmiliar then this course is for you:

You don’t know anything about 3D printing at all, or only a little, from what others have told you about it.
You are considering buying your own 3d printer but are not 100% sure yet.
There are so many materials and settings to choose on your printer that you’d like help understanding.
You are running into issues with your printer and need some guidance on where to start troubleshooting.
You have printed a few things but you’re not sure why some prints work and others don’t.

Small workshop groups 8-10 people keep the focus on learning and getting more hands on experience and questions answered.
Everythings provided for you, no need to bring your own printer, a Bambu Lab 3D printer, filament, and laptop will be provided for the duration of the class.
Hands on learning, this wont be just a class to show up and listen to, youll get lots of hands on training to ensure you are comfortable and well equipped to
tackle anything 3d printing related before you leave!

Learn about different 3d printers (fdm, sla, sls).
How 3d printers actually work from the inside out.
All the tools that come with the printer and box.
Locating files from reputable sites online.
Makerworld’s free tools.
Reading the lcd screen to understand what is happening (nozzle temp and bed temp).
Calibration and what’s actually happening, all printer checks.
All components and their names to help properly identify issues.
Safe handling and maintenance for the machines.
Loading and unloading of filaments.
What materials are best suited for the job at hand.
Understanding basc printer issues that may arise, and how to troubleshoot them.
Loading a model into the slicer and preparing it for printing with print settings.
Print your very own model to take home!
A take home booklet of the information from your class and resources for your 3D printing projects.
Time to ask your own questions at the end.
